2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
The Almighty God has commanded His light to shine in us. From the beginning of the world He's been the God of light. Before creating the things we see, He created light (Gen.1:3). The implication of this is that for God to create in us eternal greatness, He first created in us light. That light is Christ Jesus. It's expedient because nothing good can be achieved in darkness, thus the darkness of the heart is the major hindrance to the salvation of the man.
Light symbolizes knowledge. Jesus, the light of the world, shone in our hearts, is the power and wisdom of God(1Cor.1:24). It goes on to proof, without doubt, that the presence of Christ in our hearts has giving us a place in the Divinity of the Almighty God. The question is not if God is willing to give us the greatness, but if we are willing to accept Christ into our hearts and so live above the dictates of this dark world.
With Christ in us, we can't be confused, for His wisdom and knowledge brings understanding on what to do, how to do it and when to take any particular action. One with this knowledge is not moved by emotions, but the word of God.
Let Christ be your knowledge today, let Him occupy your heart.
Let's pray together.
Heavenly Father, thank you for your knowledge in our hearts. Please strengthen us and don't allow us fall into the foolishness of this world, in Jesus name. Amen.
