Progress, or at least Fogress
You can't really appreciate fog until you've lived through three months of temperatures so cold that water won't suspend in the air.
(This is Duluth/Superior, from some years ago, because the Twin Cities don't really lend themselves to fog photography for some reason.)
We had some pretty epic fog for my neighborhood today, if not a lot by Bay Area standards. But it wasn't raining, apart from a few sprinkles, and mid-40s fog is perfectly good enough for a long walk at the end of the winter. There was still a lot of ice on the sidewalks, and wading through a few parts that had gone unplowed all winter and sill had a few inches of snow on them, but I was able to get out for a long walk, and my body is starting to remember what actually doing things feels like.
With any luck it will pass that information on to my brain in the next week or so. I'm so ready to have initiative again.
